I have a question, if I add these files to my MEGA account and your files get taken down will the files on my account still remain?

Depends how the takedown is issued:

disable request = files remain on my account + importers account

removal request = files are "deleted" from my account and anyone else that imported them (they will still show but give a "file no longer accessible error when trying to download)
