search for 'utopia opening scene' on youtube and see for yourself, it's strange, it has a lot of violence but it isn't there for the edge effect, it's more so about the philosophy of the characters... something called 'infinite risk paradox'... to not spoil too much

unsettling, but not too much. just enough for me to say "one more and i'm done" and that one more never comes. they don't abuse violence and horror for the sake of cheap scares.
I absolutely loved that show! Wanted to see more than two seasons but oh well.

thanks for the upload but i think the audio is out of sync by about half a second.
On all episodes or just one? I'll check it out as soon as I can.
I'm know it's in the first and sixth one for sure. I converted them to mp4 using handbrake and they almost always sync correctly. The audio seems just a little bit ahead of the video.

Season 1 of Utopia is one of the best pieces of television ever made. Sublime story, characters, cinemetography, pacing, themes, soundtrack... it's just unbelievable. If you're reading this comment and you haven't yet watched it, I highly recommend. There's not quite like it on TV any more - shows like Mr Robot try but they're just not the same.
