Not sure if the link is dead now, or if they've started blocking users. I get a "user blocked" error with MegaDownloader, but when I go to the actual page, it tells me the link is dead/files have been taken down.

Edit: Link is dead, apparently. :(

All the seasons seem to have been taken down. Is there any plan to re-upload?

which episode are you having problems with the audio? I tested all episodes from this release and found the audio plays fine on audio track 1 (movie) and audio track 2 (commentary). You might try checking your audio settings in your OS.

Don't sweat it.. It seems VLC is having problems playing 7.1 without adjustments in advanced settings.

Here is a forum post on the VLC website that might help you. Link

It works perfectly fine for me.. You should try switching to MPC-HC as your deafult player as it's much better than VLC anyways

I really fail to see how MPC is better than VLC for everything I use VLC for..... (switching between 5.1 & 2.1 to make sure I get audio, the ability to boost your volume to 200%is something I usually NEED bcus of listening to media through headphones, & I constantly use the ability to watch media a 1.2-1.5 speed during boring TV shows or sections of a movie bcus (especially w subtitles) I can still understand what they are saying n it helps me binge n cut my time down...

Is there any easy way to convert these using a different codec? Trying to play these on one of those tv boxes and cannot get video, only audio. Nothing I can really do to change the player so I'd have to work on the files themselves. Thanks.

Are you using Laptop + HDMI or direct via usb?

Usb drive-> Box -> HDMI-> TV

This is the box: https://www.amazon.com/Micca-Full-HD-Portable-Digital-Player/dp/B008NO9RRM

I read some suggestions online but the problem is not all TVs play x265, unfortunately. If you want, you could convert it to x264 and give it a shot. It should be playable.

You could try, if your TV has a usb input, doing it directly maybe that way it'll work but i doubt it.

Yeah it's a crappy Element TV, won't play anything at all off USB hence someone got the digital media player. It seems to definitely be a codec issue, since the files work in VLC on my PC and weren't displaying video in WMP.

Just not sure of the easiest/fastest/free-est way to batch convert 60~ gigs of mkv's.

I would just not download x265 if you can't play the files. Download x264 and play those. The quality you will lose from double re-encoding, especially with a lack of knowledge, is not worth the time it'll take. Either that or upgrade your set-top box (the one you linked is... incredibly feature-light compared to alternatives) so that it's able to transcode x265 with its hardware (Amazon FireTV can do this).
