They are extremely close, if you were to put them side-by-side you'd have a hard time telling the difference. The advantage of these is they're a) the actual netflix source file and b) half the size of the x264 encodes.

I don't know exactly - probably the same way they get the amazon streams. house of cards 1080p used the same method.

The netflix source is HEVC which then gets captured & encoded into x264 (webrip)

These are the netflix hevc files completely untouched (web-dl)
