[META] anyone else having issues with megadownloader or Jdownloader2? large downloads just stopping before completion. | Megalinks MegaDB [META] anyone else having issues with megadownloader or Jdownloader2? large downloads just stopping before completion.

ive never had these issues until the past week, small downloads like a couple of GB are fine, but when i try to download a larger file, like a 100gb zip, it downloads 30-60% of the file and then just stops.

It doesnt say error, or corrupt or anything. It says 'Downloading' but just stays at 0.00 KB/s.

i thought it was an issue with the servers so just left it for a day, no good.

i thought it was an issue with the file, so I tried cancelling and restarting the download, and same thing.. downloads around half the file and then just goes to 0.00 KB/s.

If i add a new download, it starts downloading perfectly fine - even if its the same file im trying to download.

i must have wasted a good quarter of my bandwidth this month with this and its getting pretty annoying.

I've had that happen. What I did was pause the download, close the application, then open the application again and it starts downloading again.

I use MegaDownloader1.7 with no issues... it does slow right down for the last segment(s), but always completes...

Kinda of a noob here. Is there any major changes between jdownloader 1 and 2? And should I just get 2?

I don´t really know, but what I gather 2 is offering more functions, more stable a doenť require java
