Do you have the x264 version, my laptop can't watch x265, i've tried to install k-codec, etc but can't solve it. Anyway, thank you for posting this :)

Try installing PotPlayer. I used VLC, MPC-HC, mpv, and they all stuttered or didn't open the files.
