To fix this, copy & replace the fixed launcher exe named [ep1.exe | Megalinks MegaDB ep1.exe] that is located in the downloaded folder [HL2EP1 Replacement | Megalinks MegaDB HL2EP1 Replacement] into the installed game folder [hl-2 | Megalinks MegaDB hl-2] that is located in the main installed game folder that you have installed on your PC.

Hey, idk if this is just me but EP2 isn't working properly. It launches and plays fine but none of the particles (like the lightning from the portal in the title screen) are working properly. Could someone test this and tell me if it happens for you also? Like I said there should be a blue stream of energy coming down from the portal. Thanks in advance.

I found it somewhere else --> http://pacsteam.org/Shareware/Games and that copy seems to work. If anyone else experiences this problem I'd recommend that link!

Hey, is this what you meant by particles not working? They seem to be working for me I think and I have a low-end PC, maybe check the game graphic quality settings or something.
