btw, i do a lot of video editing for my youtube videos, and i am just a beginner, i used a lot of free video splitting tools available online, but none of them , NONE OF THEM , compare to this . THANK YOU SIR(S)! you have made my job a lot easier!

Fwiw, /u/C_McButterpants, I have the version you posted but Avast flags it as a dangerous file, so that's why I didn't upload that specific version. The one I posted works fine.

My avg also blocked it saying it's a malware, but I put it in exceptions , is there a need to be on gaurd about this?

I don't believe so. It's a generic detection, so you're safe. A couple of reliable sites have the version /u/C_McButterpants posted, and if he's got experience with this version then he can tell you about it.

I've no idea what AVG thinks it's doing... it can't even be a 'false positive' — this is the official install that happens to include a proper key. No patches, no injectors, etc, etc.
