Pro tip. This movie revolves around the idea of deception. Make sure to use a subtitle that allows you to know when characters are speaking Japanese or Korean. This lets you appreciate the movie in a much better fashion.

It's easily a top 5 movie from 2016. South Korea made a massive mistake selecting The Age of Shadows | Megalinks MegaDB The Age of Shadows as their official Oscar entry, instead of this masterpiece. AoS didn't even make the final cut, sadly. This would have | Megalinks MegaDB have had a much better chance (even if its subject matter isn't exactly Oscar friendly)
