[META] Bots can see right past the snahp.it method | Megalinks MegaDB [META] Bots can see right past the snahp.it method

Proof: is all you need to do using Jdownloader is copy the link and it bypasses the captcha completely. Just wanted to point that out, it's not really protection when using the full link.

Encoding in base64 is the best so far

I don't know why but I really like decoding stuff.

I like encoding stuff. I encrypt things by hand for fun. I'm not great at decryption though.

It's too bad there are no capital letters in morse code, that'd be fun.

A decoder comes with all main linux distros for example. I'm shocked it works so well for how easy and timeless that method is to pull apart.

we could share pictures of pieces of paper with the links handwritten in pigpen cipher and make people decode from that

Tbh the best method would be to set up Automoderator or some bot of our own to respond to people saying "Link Please" or something in a PM but only if they have 500+ karma or something, right?

Like

Something a bot cannot request, needs a real active account, etc.

That way you could also snuff botusers out based on their public requests in threads compared to how quick stuff goes down.

Or a site specifically made for us by us, with a captcha, then the requirement to enter a reddit account, it sends a PM then you paste the code it sends back into the site and you're in. -- This way it can stop you from being a bot, and confirm you're a credible/active user.
