Installing Mirror's Edge - Catalyst on my system right now, but holy FUCK, man. 16gb torrent download? undertandable, I thought, okay, this'll be a swift install, maybe like 20 minutes at most. I'm at 5 hours 2 minutes, 81%, holy shit. This game better be worth, LOL, but even if it isn't, fitgirl does have some good rep!

Yeah, I have experienced similar waiting times before aswel. Whenever I install a big game from fitgirl I just leave my pc to work and do something in background. She also made a repack out of Nier Automata which is only 9 gb and it took me less then a hour to install.

i got that game through direct downloads, took me about 6-7 to dl, but took about 30 minutes to decompress if all into one folder. about 12 dl links. But holy shit NiER is one buggy ass game. /: If i fixed the crack, i needed FAR to get good performance. One i got cracked FAR, i'm getting random crashes. Set the game to play w/o hyper-threading and getting random jet sounds now.

It's only a 7 minute install and can drop to as little as 3 minutes depending on your PC. The reason why it was able to be compressed to an 1/8th of its original size was due to the game being poorly compressed and having a lot of duplicate files. FitGirl says in actual reality, the game only has about 8 GB worth of unique files so to speak.
