I'm not gonna judge if you dl this game, that's why we're all here. But I strongly recommend that if you enjoy the game, please consider buying it. I bought it from a grey-market vendor and after 100 hrs I really regret it. I bought the DLC on day one to support the devs. Absolutely incredible game made on a shoe-string budget, holding its own in sales during the release of Zelda, almost purely by word of mouth. One of, if not the best story-based game I've ever played in my 33 years of gaming. I can't praise this game enough.

According to the Steam page, the PS4 copy is the real game/release and is rated very well, but the PC Version is a port from PS4 > PC.

What does that mean? hopefully nothing, It means they re-build the game for PC from the version they made for PS4, usually looks and feels mostly the same.. BUT the recent reviews are mixed saying they did a poor job at it, stuttering issues, input, etc.

Lately I started just uploading only Fitgirl repacks. They are faster to upload and significantly smaller to download especially for people with bandwidth limits. I mean from 48Gbs to just 9Gbs is just incredible.

Yeah, and Mega compared to torrents is much much better!

Nier's cutscenes are pre-rendered so, FitGirl made it downloadable. This still has cutscenes but they are compressed.

You first install the game with the lossy cutscenes. After that when you playing and want the lossless cutscenes then theres another setup file just for that. Just run that and its done. Regarding the voiceovers yes you can choose during the setup what language you want.

Theres no need to have a mounting software for this just run the setup. Those aren't even the files from this upload. Is that the corepack upload? Most cracks are seen as a virus as they need administrative privileges to open the game. Turn off your antivirus or real time protection and it should install. Its safe.

Its just the 9gb files you need to download. The 18gb file is the lossless cutscenes and thats not required for installing the base files.

I already have the game from another source but would like to cut down on the size for hard drive reasons, so replacing the video folder with this versions would save almost 20 gigs.

But Id like to extract that bin without grabbing the whole game :\

You can try mine. Not sure if it works on different systems. The boss you beat, is it the single crane blade saw or the large robot? If you didn't verse the latter you can't go back.

Its not recommended to have that little amount of space on your disk. Try putting the game on a ext disk and installing. It should be about 26gb to install but i dont recommend it.

Seems like your antivirus is on. Dll files are part of the crack files. Turn it off and try again.

I got it to start the installation, but it keeps getting stuck on data004.cpk unpacking. Left it running overnight and not complete after 7+ hours.

Try changing the installation directory. You not installing the lossless videos so it should be done within an hour.

Hey /u/8_Some_Chicken_Shit some people have 'sort of' found out already but File 7/8 (setup-fitgirl-selective-lossless-videos.bin) fails in the checksum. Re-downloading this file on my VPS and doing a quick checksum resulted the same issue, a different CRC.

Could it be corrupt on mega too? Normal install works fine for the time being.

When i did the checksum before uploading, the lossless video.bin file was fine. Did you run the setup for the lossless bin? Does it install properly? Its a big single file so there could have been some sort of corruption of the file during the upload.
