No problem. I had some VHS tapes and a deck that converted them to DVD so I figured what the hell and I ripped my entire VHS collection.

I'm so jealous! I have hung on to a few VHS tapes (mostly of stuff I taped off tv when I was a kid) despite not having a VCR anymore. It'd be so cool to have the ability to rescue that stuff.

I am not sure. I haven't seen the DVD release.
I just did a search and it appears that the 1973 film version with debbie reynolds hasnt been released on dvd in the USA, but is available in Australia.
