[META] Way to fix MegaDownloader error: Unexpected Character encountered while parsing value

I've noticed that this occurs when there are characters in the file or folder names that are not allowed, like:

• Tilde (~)
• Number sign (#)
• Percent (%)
• Ampersand (&)
• Asterisk (*)
• Braces ({ })
• Backslash ()
• Colon (:)
• Angle brackets (< >)
• Question mark (?)
• Slash (/)
• Plus sign (+)
• Pipe (|)
• Quotation mark (")

A way to fix this is to take out any of these characters from the file or folder names before trying to download.
