Hello, I happen to be using a free mega account and for the past few weeks I have been unable to delete certain folders from my account and I wanted to know if anyone has or has had the same issues as well. I would really appreciate any help. A bit of extra information: the folders seem to have a chain icon on the top right that refuses to disappear once I've removed the sharing link. I've attached an image for easy understanding.

The Chain just means you have a link to it, Shouldn't bother deleting it, I happen to use a free account too, This has happened before, Just keep trying to delete it. You can remove the link by right-clicking on the one that has the little chain on them and clicking 'Remove Link' button. Here's a screenie.

I have been trying for a while, unfortunately it still refuses to delete, guess I'll have to keep on trying.

Sometimes I find trying on a different device, such as your phone, works or gives you more answers. I was struggling to delete folders yesterday and when logging into the phone app, it said "MEGA servers are busy, please wait..." but never logged in.
