Here is a 1080p fan edit of Escape from New York that brings back the original scene in the beginning. The original scene itself is only DVD quality, but I've added it to the beginning of the film. You may notice the opening titles are a little different, the one where it says the title of the film is a little lower quality, this is because of my copy of the film. Everything is in English however.

Please only get this if you have the blu-ray.

The deleted scene I found in a fanedit dvd torrent, I've just combined it with a 1080p source.
