It's a shame the Unity book focuses on UnityScript instead of C#. Unity's "UnityScript" is a huge waste of time. It's not real Javascript, so the skills you develop using it won't transfer directly to web development, and it's doesn't have all the features of real Javascript, so if you come from webdev the skills you have and are used to using won't fit 1:1. C# is also Unity's own "language of choice" that all their documentation and live sessions assume you're using. It baffles me why they haven't axed it like they did Boo.
