The problem comes when you are non-US^^? . My local libraries don't have any audio books and even if they did, there would be only a little of them in my language. Plus I would rather listen to them in english anyway.

Yeah, I wish our libraries had that kind of stuff.

This really isn't a joke, your local library will have tons of audiobooks as well as be able to loan them from other libraries if there's one you want that doesn't exist.
If you're looking for free ones:
paid ones:

You can create unlimited trial accounts of Audible (Which gives you a free audiobook)
could you eli5 how to?
There's really no secret, you go to Audible.com , and click on the "Try now" button (?).
You need a different email for each trial though

PM for details. I haven't tried it in a while so not sure if the method still applies.

Anyone know the best way to strip the DRM from audible .aa or .aax files and make them into .mp3 files?
I use this, and it works pretty well.

Anyone know where to get comics??
[-] horrayimuseful | 1 points
domdomsoft will get you pretty much all the manga you never knew you needed.
I had mycomicpost.net buried in my bookmarks section but can't speak to the quality of posts.
And not for download, but I got too lazy about maintaining my comic library so now I read online at readcomiconline.to - they have a pretty good selection.

Spotify has a nice selection. At least they have here (Germany) - but I think you need premium.
[-] horrayimuseful | 2 points

AudioBook Bay
Use your local library. Most of them have an arrangement with OverDrive for audiobooks and ebooks. They allow you to download the files and the files have no DRM. If you use the OverDrive manager, it will automatically delete the MP3 files once your book is due for return. However, you can make copies of the files before they are deleted.
For one very hard to find book, I used Audible.com's free month trial and downloaded the book for free. I then converted the .aa file (which is essentially an encrypted MP3) to MP3 format. You can use inaudible (which can be difficult to find the most recent version) or AAX2MP3.

Another vote for audiobook bay. Most comprehensive library with pretty good quality on average.

How do you download from AudioBook Bay? All the links take me to a thing to sign up for HyperBlazing.
