I think Harmy plans to release full 1080 versions of the movies this year, so you might want to wait for those if you have limited internet and only plan to dl once

In one of the upper comments it explains that v3.0 will be 1080p for all films.

I thought they planned to release it this year, but in this more recent post (http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Harmys-THE-EMPIRE-STRIKES-BACK-Despecialized-Edition-HD-MKV-and-AVCHD-v20-NOW-AVAILABLE/id/12511/page/137) Harmy says he's had to put the project on hold for the time being. He doesn't like to give ETA's, so there's no way to actually know when the next version will come out

I just tried it too, but the mkv it made doesn't work, it seems to play fine but if I skip ahead in the movie at all then the video freezes but the audio keeps going. Perhaps I used makemkv wrong? I'm not exactly familiar with it so perhaps I didn't check a box I was supposed to or use correct settings, idk. Any help would be appreciated. It took nearly 5 hours to encode one so trial and error isn't exactly the most efficient way to go about this haha

I have an i7 Skylake so idk why my processing power isn't breezing through it. I used to use VLC but some mkvs were having audio issues in the past, so I've been using MPC-HC and that has worked for me since
