Does anyone have the Grindhouse Edition of Empire Strikes Back? Instead of using multiple sources like the Despecialized, it uses a single source, a 35mm film reel of the movie.

I've got the Silver Screen Edition, too. I've been looking into other versions like it, and the same people did it with Episode V, and called it the Grindhouse Edition. Problem is, it's only available on Myspleen and Usenet, which aren't sites I want to get involved with. I was hoping somebody on here downloaded it at some point and could put on megalinks.

Well it's mostly because I can't. From what I've gathered, you can't just sign up and join. You have to be invited or something like that. And they don't like users that just download movies without uploading content too. And I've heard that usenet.nl has shady business practices, like not letting people cancel their free trial.

You can mount and copy the 00009.m2ts file and use ffmpeg to convert to mkv

no, ffmpeg wont reincode, just change container. only limited by ssd/hdd speed

Welp, just went ahead with ffmpeg and its doing its thing. I think I'm gonna have to leave it on overnight :'| Thanks for mentioning ffmpeg, will come in handy for sure!

Edit: 23gb at average 2.0mb/s disk speed, this must take overnight right?
