My mega drive is completely empty yet it is showing me that around 22 GB is occupied. I have nothing in the Rubbish bin either, nor have I ever shared any files from my drive to others. Any idea what might be the issue and how to fix this?

Same here, rubbish is empty, I deleted it manually. Still showing up as full. Ridiculous!

Mine showed like that for a couple of days. I believe I just logged out, cleared my browser cache, and logged back in to fix it.

Tried that, even logged in on my phone using the app but it still shows the same.

I'm talking about mega drive, the cloud storage. Not my physical memory drive.

I had this problem and had to login with megatools to remove the 'ghost' files.

Could you elaborate? I do use megatools as my main downloading tool. megadf shows 22 GB used. megals shows /Contacts /Inbox /Root /Trash
How do I clear up the Ghost files?

Soz my dude - when I had this situation, megals showed a bunch of files with a '.' in-front of them that didn't show in the web client, if yours isn't like this then I'm not sure of the cause :(

I see. Thanks though. I just deleted my account and created a new one using same ID. No idea what caused this though.
Same here I have a bunch of files that won't delete so now my account is permanently full
clearing cookies worked for me, sometimes the rubbish bin does not update properly

It is already empty, there's nothing in it.

I have experienced this a few times. I had to patiently wait for Mega to do their garbage collection.
