The Matrix TS Bootleg Workprint:
This is an extremely rare workprint from a test screening of the Matrix. This version contains no licensed music other than the main soundtrack. There is music missing from 7 scenes. Not sure of the other differences, runtime on this version is 2:07:50, the theatrical version runtime is 2:16:18, so there are other differences other than the missing music, sorry I couldn't find more info.
This is how I first watched the matrix in my dorm at college (a week or two before it came out in theatres).
I have to say the lack of music REALLY added something to it, but I didn't realize that until I later watched the DVD release and it took on a much more traditional Hollywood feel that was not nearly as intense.
I just thought that the movie had no music, it scenes like the club scene in particular that much more odd and focused.
Edit: For posterity: I originally downloaded this either from an HTTP site with direct links (lots of those sites back then) or from one of the many dorm share servers and it was in Vivo format (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivo_Software) in 7 or 8 individual pieces.
I had it for years and then deleted it eventually when I got the DVD boxed set.

In have fond memories of lurking on vivo IRC rooms for Bootlegs. My first ones were Titanic and there's something about Mary. Vivo gave way to ASF if I recall correctly for those who couldn't download the full VCD.
