in the last couple of days when i tried to download files (be it video files or compressed files) using MegaDownloader the resulting files turned out corrupted, can't play or can't extract them. when i tried downloading the same files via browser they turned out fine, no problem what so ever. did anyone encounter this as well? i'm using V1.7

I've had the same problem. I resolved it by changing the settings to download only a single file at a time. If the file is compressed (zip or rar), you can check the integrity using 7zip when your download is complete.

Options... Configuration... In the General tab, in the lower-right, set "Number of parallel downloads" to 1. Then click Save.

so did you guys find any way to solve the problem aside from changing the number of parallel downloads?

What usually works for me:
reducing parallel downloads
pausing download briefly before restarting
resetting my modem
trying the same download using JDownloader
