[Meta] Any programs that automatically sort tv episodes? | Megalinks MegaDB [Meta] Any programs that automatically sort tv episodes?

I downloaded the complete walking dead series from here

https://www.reddit.com/r/megalinks/comments/5vtex3/tv_thewalkingdeads0106720pblurayx264pahein_2625gb/

And I used megadownloader for it and it downloaded all the episodes into a single folder and they are all out of order.

FileBot might help by adding the correct season to the beginning of each file name.

No. Download from sourceforge and run in compatibility mode. You also need to have appropriate JRE

Good catch! I guess I'll have to remove the legacy installers altogether~ Oh well~ facepalm

Why man, why? Why on eartch would you do something like that.

Pro Tip: Ask money for support. Make it free to use.

'cause you're asking for it. :P

I've got 10.000+ posts on the FileBot Forums so I can tell you with absolute certainty that support does not pay. ;)

If you don't believe me, you're welcome to take over the forums and try to get rich from people paying you for support~

Pro Tip: Companies pay money for support. Consumers never ever pay money for support.

There are a few reasons. Most importantly, if you use the Windows Store, then you can't f*** things up.

1 in 5 support requests are about installing 32-bit Java and 64-bit FileBot, or 64-bit Java and 32-bit FileBot, etc. Since you're handing out links meant for "advanced user" to "basic users", which then go on to download x86 (because x86 > x64, obviously, duh), then you might as well help me out with dealing with them when they come running for help with great thread titles such as "Help me!" "It doesnt work" or "Filebot shows wierd error". facepalm

Just a tip going forward: When you're using MegaDownloader to download something with multiple sub-folders (such as a TV show with folders for each season), create a new empty folder. Then, in MegaDownloader, when you go into the Add Links window, uncheck "Create Directory" and modify the specified Path to direct to the new folder. (e.g. If your default path is "C:\Downloads", change it to "C:\Downloads\ [new folder name]") It will then download everything properly, and sort everything as it appears online.

I used to use TheRenamer which works ok, but a while back I switched to Tinymediamanager (tmm). It works for both movies and tv shows, and also downloads related media info and artwork automatically. You can customize the renaming/ cleanup options to your liking and it just works great! Pairs well with kodi. I highly recommend it, also it's free!

Kodi takes a bit of work, but once it's up an running it will look like [this] (http://imgur.com/a/zaF83) once you have the right addon, it will scrape all of the episode info etc
