I have a bunch of old SNL episodes, including most of the episodes for seasons 1-18 (some seasons are complete, others are missing a few). Also have a couple related specials, comedy standup, etc.

Most of it is in 480p or 540p, from various sources including VHS recordings of re-runs from what I can tell. That's about the best quality you'll find though, since the only material NBC released on DVD were the first 5 seasons and some 'best of's.

I grabbed it several years ago by searching through torrents. Just checked again and it looks like there's much less out there now, although I'm sure there are still forums somewhere where they trade them. Figured I could put what I have on MEGA for anyone interested.

Netflix was showing some episodes at one point too, although they were edited down quite a bit. They've since removed it all from their catalogue.

Seeso now has the same stuff Netflix had. No musical guests or sketches with any licensed music.

For the SNL diehard it's not a bad deal at $5/mo.

If I remember correctly they edited out more than just the musical segments. Some episodes were less than half an hour.

Edit: This is actually a different performance of the original. Which is still pretty awesome. Didn't know she did this twice on SNL, same dancers, same routine. Awesome either way.

Regarding what can be streamed online, I still feel there is value in having full episodes, rather than assorted clips.
