It's only "insanely too large" because you've been conditioned into seeing 1.6GB 1080p web-dl streams and think
Maybe those screens aren't exactly the best to show the difference (it's not night-and-day like TWD) but if you're telling me you can't see a difference in something like this: http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/201213 then that's down to you. Pretty obvious to me, then again I do spend some time in avsp switching between the two.
What's supposed to be better between both in terms of quality/bitrate/colors ? Because the WEB-DL version seems to have less noise because there is a kind of blurry effect kind of applied to it when the AMZN one seems to have "more noise" but still looks better in terms of colors and quality overall.
