Is it better than megatools?

This will give you a shell (MEGACmd>) which has its own commands (cp, import, export etc). So I would say it has more features. But I didn't see any difference with the download speeds.

I've already got megatools setup so I can switch --config
's really quickly... I might play around with mega-cmd.

Oooo that is nice. Generally when I see a link I want (that's not a folder link) I just did megadl
and nabbed it.

How do you normally switch between accounts?

Unless they remove the download limit, none of the tools they offer will complete with what we already have. The primary reason I don't use any of Mega's first-party tools is because they impose a download limit.
