Right? I thought BDRip meant Bluray-Disk-Rip, which would put it at the top in terms of quality (aka making file size large). Or am I wrong?

I believe you are right, seems weird. :o Do BDs have higher quality than mp4s (coding, audio, not only resolution)?

I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say so. I always thought mp4 was relatively old and newer files were mkv which supported more content. But IDK for sure.
