PS: I remember watching this movie, it's very parkour-y and overall OK. Even has a sequel.

zip files are supported natively in most OSes, while rar files require 3rd party software like winrar or 7zip to open.

Regarding the link longevity thing, I'm mainly doing it under the assumption (discussed here from time to time) that it's likely that MEGA is taking down many files based on checking the hash. So compressing would change the file's size.

Well I was following vcdupper's advice to compress the files and put a password on them. He has a lot of experience with what works and what doesn't.

I'm not familiar with opening compressed files directly in media players so I didn't know about that. Usually I'd just extract the files before playing.
