It's a game install file but I guess you can install it to a flash drive or something and have it portable like that.

The subtitle options can be turned on in settings but no subtitles are shown when Glados is talking.

Your copy is the most seeded copy of Portal 1 on piratebay, uploaded in 2008. It's easy to tell because they have the exact same file size haha. I think subtitles and developer commentary are excluded from this copy to get this small file size.

I've found a 2gb copy which should work fine, but thanks anyway op.
