the ocean group dubbed dragon ball z for two seasons on toonami before being replaced by funimation's in-house dub. if you're watching it all the way through for the first time, just stick with the dragon box version, as it uses the same dub as the other 7 seasons and the entirety of dragon ball

Keep getting a "wrong password" error when I try to unzip the file? Putting the name of the subreddit exactly as it is all in lower case, no spaces and still having troubles. I unzipped everything else, just that season 5 is giving me troubles and it's my second time downloading.

i downloaded the zip for dbz season 1 its about 18.33GB like you have listed, but when extracted the total size is 15.9GB. Shouldn't this be the other way around, how does zipping it make it bigger unless it's somehow missing content or im just dumb. I also would like to add a big thank you for uploading this :)

Oh shit, sorry, I at first read it as "Dragon Ball" not "Dragon Box." Having not owned one, I would also not know, but I believe they used the dub audio from the original DVDs, with the Japanese audio having Cha La and the next episode previews. Those are probably muted because they were never originally recorded in English.

Yeah, I was referring to the DBZ Dragon Box. Are you implying that this wasn't originally your upload, or that you didn't source it directly from physical copies of the Dragon Box?

I have a DBNL upload of the Dragon Boxes, and both Head-Cha-La and the Next Episode preview audio are present (the Next Episode audio is Japanese, though.) Maybe the quality of my version is suspect, but methinks someone mucked with these, if they weren't originally yours.

yeah, I found the rips elsewhere online and then uploaded them here with everything else because nobody else had before. but yeah, it is possible the original uploader tampered with them in some way, as even where i found them online the uploader was not the original and did not remember where he found them.

I just got my hands on a Dragon Box ISO: the English track has Cha-La, Head-Cha-La as the OP, and the next episode previews have audio, but it's in Japanese. I guess it makes sense they were never dubbed, as DBZ never aired in this format in the States. I doubt anyone somehow tampered with this.

FWIW, this copy of yours seems to be of great A/V quality: just know that the English audio track isn't completely faithful to the actual Dragon Boxes.

I'm in the process of trying to download the Dragon box Season 8. Everything downloads fine, when I try to extract the file with winrar, l see that there are videos ready to be extracted but when I go to extract the file, lt gives me error before I get the chance to enter the Password. What can I do to bypass/fix this, all the help would be much appreciated.

Try using 7-zip to unzip them. If you're using Windows system unzipper, it won't even give you the option to enter the password. It'll just throw up an error message.
