[META] Comic Group | Megalinks MegaDB [META] Comic Group

As you all know I have been posting a ton of comics. They all except for a few Dark Horse Star Wars comics have been Marvel. I want to make DC and some smaller publishers like image also be posted but I do not have enough time to download and subsequently upload and read them if I did.

As a result I want to know if a group of people want to help by taking on DC and other publishers and some other people focused on back issues, i.e. comics published before the current reboots of All-New, All-Different Marvel and DC Rebirth. If anyone is willing to help let me know so we can cover all major comics.

TL;DR: I need help covering comics not published by Marvel.

I have three ways of getting comics new and old I would like to share.

  1. 4chan's /co/ - Comics & Cartoons board has a weekly Win-O'-Thread (link to the latest one) where on every Wednesday people on the site upload the latest scans & rips of comic books/issues from every comic brand imaginable. The first post of the thread is the FAQ and if you read it they have a link to all the old archived threads that go as far back as to May 2012 but the older the threads the less likely the links still up but it's still worth the look. If you want to download issues then I recommend either the zippyshare or userscloud links for the best download speeds. They sadly don't do mega for some reason.

  2. If you don't want to download comics then the creators of the KissAnime & KissCartoon site have a sister site called ReadComicOnline where you can read past/current/new comic issues or graphic novels online.

  3. Google

No problem. I probably wouldn't even do this if comics weren't $4-5 a pop.

I can help you if you tell me where to download from. There was a guy who used to upload on imgur, but got a notice and had to take it down.

I could help, but probably not regularly. Maybe a couple of uploads on the weekends. And for those looking for a site, everything I've gotten from this site has worked well for me in the past.

The sites I use are

https://www.warez-bb.org/viewtopic.php?t=461523&start=104250

I also use mycomicpost when I can't find something.

These days you can find anything using a combination of the sites posted in this thread but another great source is DC++.

For those that don't know what it is, it's an underground file sharing service type deal. It's not torrents. Everyone shares their own files and you download from other people. You don't have to share much if you don't want, just a minimum of 10 or so gigs of comics.

Once you get on DC++ there are 4 main comic book hubs/chat rooms that you want to go to.

I also use the the two major book hubs cause people there have comics as well.

And you don't have to be paranoid about the copyright trolls like when you use torrents, no one to my knowledge has ever gotten a notice from DC++. The copyright trolls just stick to torrents. Besides with DC++ they would literally have to make an account and share copyrighted files that you can download off of them in order to connect to you and download stuff from you...def too much of a hassle for the copyright trolls to do...and besides, even with torrents no one cares about comics, it's just movies/music/tv shows.

I use to use bolt.cd for when I couldn't find something, but they aren't as quick with the new releases as they used to be.

So ya, primarily I use DC++ and warez.bb and comicpost.

Very cool to see a couple sites I didn't know about. It's always nice to have a few extra/back up sites case torrent/download sites are shutting down a dime a dozen these days.
