ABOUT THIS VERSION
Although this reboot of The Evil Dead was arguably surprisingly good, some minor details seemed to come in the way of making it a truly great remake - most noticeably, the use of a few cringeworthy one-liners, as well as the absence of the infamous "We're gonna get you" scene that was previewed in the trailers, but was nowhere to be found in the final film. This light edit re-inserts this missing scene, and gets rid of some bad dialogue and weak CGI effects that cheapened this new EVIL DEAD experience.
