This is the PSArips release that you can get on their website, consolidated into one Mega Folder. So all credit to them.

This release has been re-encoded to save on file size, reducing ~25Gb files down to just around 3Gb.

All but one of the episodes are packed into RAR archives of up to 4 parts each, this is because I imported to my MEGA directly from their MEGA links. However Episode 3 had no MEGA option so I had to download that through other methods they offer, and it came unpacked.

Ill probably be passing as i dont expect to need 4k content for at least another year for myself.

But i came in here to say i just found PSArips and they are awesome, they understand the point of the x265 codec.

Their 800mb-1 gig Game of Thrones episodes look amazing, no crushed blacks or artifcating, its literally what all x265 releases should be. I dont get why so many groups are choosing to go to sub 300mb 1080p files that look like ass when we can get the quality of 4gb x264 files at 800mb!

Im literally converting all my files that i can their find releases for as i type.

If anyone has a torrent source, or an easier way of grabbing their rips or similiarly encoded rips please let me know, as their site is a little crappy.

10bit Joy rips are also good examples of proper x265 rips

Yea I almost mentioned them in my post also because they've been the only other one I've found decent rips from, though I will say I'm still happier with PSA's game of thrones release as I found the 10 bit joy ones still showed a dark background as blobs of colors (black becomes almost black with charcoal and grey blobs depending on the concentration of black), it just wasn't smooth.

The rest I've downloaded have been great. I think 7-8gb seasons at this quality are a perfect sweet spot. Especially when you can find a 6tb external on sale for $110.

Honestly, they aren't really that good of an example. The blacks are crushed and artifiacting out the wazoo.

Yeah, their videos are amazing, some of the best encodes out there, but their website is horrible ... it's Captcha Country and so messy to use, it takes ages to gather the links you're looking for from their site. Such a shame... I'd really like to replace more of my stuff with their x265 releases but I can't be bothered with their site, it's just too frustrating.

Yea, I only have downloaded about 7 or 8 season packs as torrents so far because individual file link acquisition would be so tedious on there. I'm sure there's a torrent site somewhere I just don't know about yet

Edit/delete/recomment: I realised the Joy rips are the low quality ones and not the other way around. The game of throne PSArips sound better. I'll have to look into them.
