Doesn't seem to fit with thetvdb, for dates and episodes

thanks a bunch for the upload...

but yeah, Plex didn't play well with the naming

Neither Plex nor TheTVDB seem to do well in real-world naming. Especially in animated theatrical shorts. There is a CartoonDB (sp?) but no Plex agent. I often have to manually name items.

Edit: I'm not really a Disney fan, tending more towards Warner and MGM but this is a nice test. I took the names and created files with them so that Plex would have something to chew on. I found the names and dates are pretty spot-on, once reformatted slightly. Having done a bulk rename that was really a reformat only three names were not located: one was missing a leading "D" in the titular characters name, another was missing an "n" in the conjunction "an", and I've forgotten the third, sorry. That's an error rate of about 2.5%, which I think is pretty good.

This is very different than e.g. Animaniacs where neither natural nor DVD order yields the as-aired programs.

thanks so much for all your cartoon uploads!

I was just wondering, are these your own rips? If yes, is it possible you could post the DVD untouched, like with the .IFO and .VOB files or that would be too much work?
