[MUSIC] The Lord of the Rings - The Complete Recordings [DVD-A][Multichannel] | Megalinks MegaDB [MUSIC] The Lord of the Rings - The Complete Recordings [DVD-A][Multichannel]

AUDIO_TS folder contains 24bit/48kHz in both stereo and 5.1, and VIDEO_TS folder has a simple menu screen with Dolby AC3 audio for playback on regular DVD players.

I've also thrown in the foobar2000 plugin (easy playback, drag and drop the .iso or AUDIO_TS folder into foobar) and DVD-Audio Explorer (for ripping .wav files, etc).

I have some other multichannel/hi-res audio releases I could put up in the future, let me know if this format is ok or if it would be better to have it converted to .FLAC files (would probably make it simpler).

But thank you for contribution though :)

This si exactly what I've been looking for! But this is new to me, I've never been given an ISO of a CD before and I'm not even sure what format the RoTK soundtrack is in, would it be possible to mount and rip it into something i could more easily use like FLAC or MP3?

Take a look at the tools I mentioned. If you have foobar2000 you can install the plugin and then you will be able to drag and drop the .iso (or in the case of RoTK, the AUDIO_TS folder) into foobar to play it.

If you'd like to rip .wav files you can use the DVD-Audio Explorer program.

Just out of curiosity, what do people use this for? Is it strictly for just listening to the movie audio, or are people muxing (wrong word?) with lower quality video?

Sorry I a bit dumb with this stuff :)

This is the LOTR soundtrack, it's a higher quality 'audiophile' release of it basically. Sorry should have made it clearer.

I've downloaded this three times and I keep getting a download error on some of the DVD tools files when using Mega Downloader

Hmmm, that's strange. According to Mega Sync all the files are there.

And now im getting errors on files in the different film folders so im going to guess this is a MegaDownloader problem

Whichever files give you errors, just right click the file, and click reset. Sometimes it might take a few tries, but there is no reason for you to have to download the whole thing again!

Thank you, this is great! Did you have to remove any Cinavia copy protection to rip these?

I didn't rip them myself, just grabbed from a torrent. Not sure about what copy protections are on the discs but they play fine through the foobar plugin, and the DVD-Audio Explorer can rip .wav files from them.
