[META] Was a reliable way around MEGA's "Bandwidth Limit" cap ever discovered? | Megalinks MegaDB [META] Was a reliable way around MEGA's "Bandwidth Limit" cap ever discovered?

I know there was some discussion about it a while ago, I've gone through some of the old threads but I didn't see anyone actually figure out a way around it. Has anyone since then come up with a reliable way to circumvent it or is this our life now for free accounts?

Megadownloader:

HERE IS THE LINK

AND HERE IS THE KEY

password to get the key is the name of this subreddit, all lower case.

Using Mega to share a link ("to plant an idea..."?) to download Megadownloader which helps to download files from Mega. This is like Inception, but more practical.

This helps get around the bandwidth cap, since it nowhere near reaches the bandwidth it can be easily downloaded.

WHat exactly is the password? I tried megalinks and rmegalinks but neither worked

The link needs a decryption key. Follow the link below it and use the password as I said to unlock the decryption key

why not just use the megadownloader?

The Megasync thing? I believe it falls under the same restrictions. If you're talking about using an independent downloader, I've tried Jdownloader and it still throws it back to the same limit and won't download.

No they mean megadownloader. A separate program that actually works.

This? And this can get around the bandwidth cap?

Yes it can. I have used it to download about 20Gb of files in one go. I find that it also speeds up the download compared to what I get through chrome, but that may be because of my old laptop that struggles with certain tasks so not sure how it will be for others.

Where did you download it from? The link I posted seems fine but I keep having to get around Chrome"s safe browsing shit. Just wanted to check before I downloaded.

I got it from that link, not sure why chrome plays up but I've had no problems. And all virus scans I have run have all come up clean.

Not MegaSync!, Megadownloader!, an independent software that allows you to paste the link from mega and download it without restrictions!. Look it up.

If you configure the autoreconnection, you can download again after few seconds. At least mega concedes full speed and a lot of data to download before temporarily blocking you. Other hosts are not like this 😠

Once again, Megadownloader. There is a search function and there's 5 posts a week about this.

I have a VPN service for torrenting, so I just connect and restart jdownloader. works perfect

You don't even need a vpn. jdownloader can restart your router in seconds to get a new ip.

That never seems to work for me. It always says it failed. Is it a plugin?
