in this case, x264 and x265 are encoders that were used to compress the source content. x265 is generally more efficient as it is newer but needs more cpu or hardware acceleration to play well

i use a combination of iflicks and subler depending on how one or the other manage the file. Im really picky about my media lol

For some reason, when i attempted to write changes in filebot, they wouldnt take. iflicks UI is amazing as well, i have custom rulesets created to handle all metadata/filenaming/file location.

That app will pull all my required content down to chapters, rename my tv shows as

Show Name - S01E01 - Episode Name

and my movies as Movie Name (Year) and move them to their respective directories like:

Movies/Genre/Movie Name (Year).m4v TV/TV Show/Season 01/Show - S01E01 - Episode Title.m4v

It also allows me to change containers the fly on tas long as its 264.

If you use newsgroups, it will make you piss yourself. When i dont have a news group account, i use it for monitoring/organizing my tv content.
