Anyone having an issue with Megadownloader when after a minute or two of full speed downloads, it seems to be throttled down to only around 100-200 kb/s. Up until a few days ago everything I downloaded was always above 4mb/s but now it always slows down and rarely recovers to full speed.
When I download directly from Mega my download speed seems fine too.
Any ideas? Cheers

Yeah I've been having this problem with megadownloader too, starts off at or a little less than full speed but slows down to horrible speeds. I tried to use jdownloader2 but It just kept getting errors, not sure how to fix it if I can.

I usually download using MEGAsync and its way faster than MEGADownloader. I only downloaded MDL because I thought MEGAsync was throttling my speeds but nope, I see worse speeds on MDL.

mine seems steady at about 1.3 mb. Slower than some due to my provider but steady.
EDIT: Nah i am getting the same thing seems mega servers are taking a shit :( isp throttling is the only answer
i tried a bunch of different isps here in aus to iron out some issues and one i had out of 3 had terrible speeds on everything.
OP swap isps

It might depends on the country you live in or the Internet provider. I live in Austria and have UPC as provider.
I pretty much always get my ~11mb/s with MegaDownloader. The only time it went down was when my whole Internet connection went down to 500kb for some minutes.

I've also noticed very inconsistent download speeds. Sometimes it helps to reboot my machine. I also tend see the best download speeds very early in the morning.

I rebooted my PC today and it seemed to make no difference. I see these speed drop offs all day too. Strange as I haven't had any issues up until a few days ago..

Do you use a cable modem? Sometimes I will disconnect the power, then the coax cable. Leave the coax disconnected for 30 seconds, plug it back in, then plug in the power. Never connect/disconnect the coax with the power plugged in.

Yes I do have a cable modem. I restarted my router today to see if that would make a difference (it didn't). I could try power cycling the modem as well but my suspicions are with megadownloader as my download speeds outside of the program are all normal

I haven't changed any settings from the default and I've changed nothing recently so I don't see why it would randomly stop working like it used to.
