In trying to understand the not-really-black-more-like-an-off-grey Tuesday, it would be helpful to hear from the community about how many people had their accounts dropped by Mega.
Please specify if you are a poster or a lurker. I've been lurking for sometime and had my account melted down into a grey paste.
Lurker, always downloaded, never imported, still got my account
I always import to my five accounts to stream and they're all still up and running, so it's definitely only sharing accounts.

I've never shared, and mine got axed. I wonder if every account that's touched certain hashes got wiped out.

I figured you'd have to at least import. Seems a bit silly to axe your account if you never stored any content.
Poster. I have 'store accounts' and 'share accounts'.
I upload files to a store account, then import them on a share account before I share them here.
All my store accounts are fine. They suspended 3/5 of my share accounts.

Same for me. All of my "Store" accounts are fine. I don't actually keep login info for my accounts though. I just keep a text file with links to all of the files in them.
I've been on this subreddit for about 2 months, and I had 8 accounts for all of my media to share. I'm now to 3 accounts because the other 5 had stuff they didn't like on them.
It sucks for me, but it won't take too long to re-up most of what I did, but I can see why some of the big posters are having meltdowns. I would to, if my days worth of work was taken down.

...and we were discussing how I could get them without data caps. Well, don't heve them... ;(

That straight up sucks

Long time lurker short term poster. My accounts that I used to store copyrighted content but not share are fine, even the one I used to backup the stuff I share. But the one I used to share content got nuked. It did have a few violations though, that is probably the main thing mega looks for.

How does Mega send violation notices? Email? I signed up using a burner email and doubt I can access it again.
I post stuff sometimes here & only had 3/12 accounts suspended. 90 % of the 12 are filled up with imported content from other users. Today was a dark day but the funny thing is I honestly don't know whats I had in the suspended accounts so on the bright side I'm not that pissed since the other 9/12 had all of the good stuff in them.

I had one account that I used to share 1 movie and 1 episode of a TV show, and nothing else. I logged on today to find that my account apparently violated their TOS.
Mine is still up. Mostly a downloader, but I've shared a few ebooks and music albums to other sites. One movie to this sub. All my uploads were either indies or non-blockbusters from major companies.
