Nothing confirmed, just the mix of usual rumors. I would imagine there will be. That seems to be standard, but as for when and where, who knows?

No. That's not the same thing as what I uploaded.

I saw Shin Godzilla on a plane. Good if you love Godzilla, bad otherwise.
Great quality though there is an annoying watermark that appears left, right, and sometimes scrolls around. Nevertheless, thank you!
not your fault but whoever ripped this are fucking idiots, why cut out 20 minutes of the movie, to advertise your fucking website?

I honestly doubt it was the group/person that ripped it. It's most likely the only version out there at the time being. It is what it is. If you want to just get a copy to watch, then this is fine. There'll be better, higher quality rips later on own the line for people who want "the best of the best of the best, with honors, Sir!" to save.
Hell, I mentioned in another thread, I grew up watching movies on HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, etc, scrambled, so cam copies, low quaity rips, etc, are no big deal for me, especially if all I want to do is just see the movie. It'll tide me over until a really good rip comes along. And, it's free, I'm not going to complain about it.

Has anyone compared this rip to what they saw in the theaters? I am curious if they just cut out the boring political "crap" scenes and left in all the awesome destruction scenes? That would actually make it more watchable.

Found this in another section of Reddit... The consensus seems to be that this is a shorter version made for Japanese Airlines. Here is some info on the missing scenes... (posted by a different Reddit user)
"Actual important story elements" is stretching things a bit. You're not going to be confused about the unfolding plot or even specific scenes when watching this cut. There are noticeable jumps, but given the way the movie was shot it can be hard to tell. That all said, the stuff that got cut should absolutely NOT have been cut. They all add color to the world and characters in it. From what I remember (I'd have to sit down and do a side-by-side for more details, and I'm not able to do that right this moment): The background for Kayako Ann Peterson (explaining her family history and introducing her political ambitions) The political aspirations for Rando Yaguchi (hinted at in this cut but spelled out in the full version) The full origin for the name "Godzilla" and why it was chosen (addressed simply as a code-name in this cut, but a full explanation complete with Google search gag) The "noodle gag" (a dry and genuinely funny scene with the stand-in Prime Minister, tons of bureaucracy and a bowl of hot ramen) A speech before the Yashiori Plan at the airfield (which details a good number of the "real world" consequences of a country's capital city being reduced to a radioactive wasteland and most of its governing backbone wiped out in an instant) ...were all cut from the film. There are other parts, as well; I remember lines of dialogue explaining how the Tama Operation used its entire alloted ordinance on Godzilla, and a whole scene explaining the details of JSDF deployment regulations, while the text of the laws are thrown up onto the screen. Speaking of text, all of the infamous Japanese "subtitles" that explained practically every location, character, political position, countdown and ordinance model number are gone. The hard-coded English keeps some of them, but they are integrated into the dialogue subs and it mucks up the timing. So in a nutshell, the cuts will make fans mad, but they don't derail the movie at large.

It's funny that I hadn't seen the "full version", yet had no problems understanding what was happening throughout. The story, the plot, everything played out quite clearly. I agree that while the cut scenes may have added 'flavor' they weren't in anyway essential to the plot. I'd also hazard to guess that if no one knew about the missing scenes, they'd enjoy the movie in complete blissful ignorance.
This looks like the real full version. Excellant quality.

Can anyone confirm?
EDIT: From reading /r/godzilla and the message board linked below, apparently this cut is indeed missing about 20 minutes of footage.

Did you even bother to check it out? What I uploaded is not the fake that was floating around a few weeks back. That was made up of footage from TV shows, and trailers. I've watched it and everything seems to be in order, there's no problem with the story. I don't know if it's edited down, (I've heard it may be shorter than the original release), but this is the only version besides the fakes that I've found as of yet. I can post screencaps and webms if you want.
