[Mega] is there a way i can select certain folders from dumps to download through megadownloader? | Megalinks MegaDB [Mega] is there a way i can select certain folders from dumps to download through megadownloader?

Hey guys I've recently came across the 5TB media dump and have found a lot of stuff in there I would love to download. There is a lot of 1080p x265 content in there I haven't found anywhere else. Now is there anyway I can select a certain folder to download through megadownloader ? For example if I just wanted to download the Breaking bad folder is there anyway to do this without it downloading the whole dump? I really hope there is a way around this because I cant even do it through the site because of the 3GB cap. Thanks in advance guys.

Try this.

Pause Megadownloader.
Add the main link.
Wait while Megadownloader loader checks all the links. You should see all the folder names resolve.
On the folders/files you don't want, right click and select remove.

Once you have finished editing the list, un-pause Megadownloader.

I do this as well, but to make it less tedious if there are many unwanted files (for those who don't know this old trick): - click on the 1st unwanted file in the list, then hold Cntrl and Shift while clicking the last unwanted file in the list. This will select all files in between. Right click and select Remove.

I think you just need to hold shift to get rid of all the files between the first and last one you've clicked. Ctrl is just for highlighting individual files.

Good to know. I've been holding the Cntrl button for nothing all these years like a sucker. :)

But you can't avoid the bandwidth cap using this method.

Edit - you meant the 3 GB limit - the initial population of the list is very little data. Once you edit it down, MegaDown will report the new total so you can see if you are over the limit. If you are, you can Right-Click, see links and copy the list and save some for another time.

The only way I think you can do that with megadownloader right now is to import the folder into your mega drive and then right click and get the links for individual files. Its a little tedious but it works.

Sign up for a free mega account. Right click on the folder you want and import it to your account. Once imported, you can get the link and download it from your account.

Raynor23 I have already downloaded breaking bad 1080p from 5tb dump. And the quality is actually very bad i dont know why though. So i found another site called Pahe.in where its X264 720p 350mb all seasons the quality is very good.Go to pahe.in and download breaking bad (they have stored there file in mega) And compare.

Use JDownloader as opposed to Megadownloader. Many more features.

Navigate to the root directory of the media dump. Copy the http address and all the individual folders will import into JDownloader. Then just delete the ones you don't want

Nah mate. It maxes out my connection. You just need to load your mega account details in.

What sites are you using aside from here for downloading?

Pretty much just mega and torrents. Also, when I download stuff from Mega using JDownloader, after downloading 3 gigs it says Bandwidth limit exceeded and I can't continue downloading from mega using JDownloader for that day. Is there any work around to this other than using MegaDownloader?

Do you have an account with mega?

I have the same bandwidth issue with JD. I only use Mega and I prefer JD over Megadownloader. If I could start using JD again, I would be stoked. Although, I am in the US, so that may be the issue. What do you mean: "You just need to load your mega account details in"?

you need to input your mega account user and password into JD. You can do this in the account manager section in JD2
