Google is your friend. Alternatively, right click on your screen and go into settings. It would be helpful if you let us know what media player you are using dude.

I'm using Media Player for Mac - it can toggle subtitles but for some reason, the ones in this file won't turn off.

Have they been hardcoded? If they are in the same folder an srt file etc, just move the file and it won't load the subs...or maybe try [this] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhuM4DCeij8)
