Australia isn't exactly renowned for producing good television, but with Kath & Kim they've struck gold. Written by and starring Jane Turner and Gina Riley, the show is a satirical situation comedy that follows a suburban mother and daughter and their dysfunctional relationship.

The series' main characters consist of Kath, a cheerful 50-year-old woman, her self-indulgent daughter Kim, Kath's boyfriend, the metrosexual Kel Knight, as well as Kim's estranged husband Brett, and her lonely, overweight "second best friend" Sharon Strzelecki (who is the best thing about the show).

It's beautifully written and acted and is both full on laugh-out-loud and subtly funny at the same time. I only have the first two series here so if anyone has series 3 and 4 please share them!

Thanks for the upload. I had all of the seasons on DVD but I've worn them out through overuse. I'll try and keep an eye out for the others.
