Thanks so much for this. As a Yank, I've had a hard time locating all of Human Remains across all of the video-sharing sites. Julia Davis is the darkest and funniest! I'll check out Fortysomething as well; sounds intriguing.

Fortysomething stars Hugh Laurie (Jeeves & Wooster) as a forty-something doctor who lives with his wife Estelle and three sex-obsessed sons Rory, Daniel and Edwin in the west London suburb of Putney. On top of coping with family pressures and a mid-life crisis, Paul discovers his unusual ability to hear other peoples' inner thoughts. The first episode kinda throws a lot of you, but it's worth watching the whole series for sure.

Going Straight stars Ronnie Barker and is the sequel to Porridge (in fact the first episode of this could easily be the last episode of Porridge). Fletcher has been released from Slade prison but trying to stick to the straight and narrow isn't easy. Stars a few of the characters from Porridge too, so it's not all new faces.

Human Remains stars Rob Brydon (Gavin & Stacy, Marion & Geoff) and Julia Davis (Nighty Night) who play a different pair of characters in each episode. Much of the show's humour is derived from very bleak ideas and situations. Domestic violence, chronic depression and death all feature prominently throughout the six episodes. Funnier than it sounds :)
