[Question] Movie Posters | Megalinks MegaDB [Question] Movie Posters

I was wondering how to effectively add movie posters to video files, a few movies on here have them, and I know it can be done with itunes, but it's a huge pain. I was wondering if there is an easier way, and why on Windows 8 the posters show up for me, and don't on Windows 7. Thanks.

Windows 7, VLC. I also tried setting as default MPV and PotPlayer with no effect.

alot of people like the MVK format on here, (most popular) and you can't do that with that file. For the most part the files need to be MP4 to have it.

Itunes doesn't work with it, but the files I have are MKV, so it must be possible outside of Itunes...

also use Itunes to put it on, they will stay on no matter where you put it

I tried that, and it seems to be the only way to see them on Windows 7, for some reason.

I use a program called mp3tag, it only works on mp4 but you can repack mkv to mp4 without any loss.

If you just care about the posters, get EMBY. It has a nice netflixesque look and is fairly straight-forward to set up. Or you can choose from a list of UPnP media servers that have a web interface from http://zqpythonic.qiniucdn.com/data/20120319163921/index.html
