True story: I took a date (an engineering student at a major university) to see this film in a theater (yes, I'm old). After the movie, I could tell she was upset... very upset.

After discussing the matter for a while, it was clear what was wrong: she thought Kids was a documentary.

you know its not that far off - i went to school with some of the people in this movie and tell people all the time this film is the closest example of the new york i knew - except i didnt know any tellys - we were all more interested in drugs and parties than anything else

CRYBABIES/WHINERS PLEASE NOTE: This is EXACTLY how it looks from the DVD which is 21 years old - it is how we - with full-screen televisions - saw widescreen movies. In those days, computers couldn't handle regular images, let alone full-length movies. They did not make this DVD for computers or wide screens. I put the DVD in my computer, you see the same thing I do, minus the usual warnings about unauthorized use and distribution, and a couple of trailers you can't skip. Better yet, BUY YOUR OWN COPY, then post it, and I'll pm you about what a body-part-goes-here you are for daring to take the 10 hours of your life to rip and upload a movie in a format/resolution I don't like. There's something wrong with this rip. The audio track is longer than the video track, the audio track is listed as having 0 channels, the video is a constant jerking judder. This plays normally on your machine?

i apologize that its bugging out like that - i had this problem with several rips i discarded using win10 - stepped down to old vlc on a win7 and it works fine on that machine im viewing it now - sound is stereo loud and on point - ill rip it another way and post it here - sorry guys for anyone having this problem i will try to fix this - i think the source is the 1990s version of drm on the disc

ok - this one has no caching and looks and sounds good to me - i wonder whether a copy that looks bad to me on a desktop would look ok on a tv/mobile device - anyway according to plexs website this fits within its parameters but even theyre not all 100 percent sure themselves that itll work so that wasnt helpful of them - its mp4 with a 23fps framerate and 128kbps mp3 sound - sending it to you guys with high hopes - emphasis on the high there

Hey, I'm DLing this version now & will let you know if it plays normally for me or not. What do you use to rip? I usually use handbrake unless I want to make an .iso.

Same issues as the first rip. It could be some kind of DRM baked into the disk. What happens at 24fps or 25fps?
