Go to the show, and hit the refresh icon (5th icon in the image attached above) to re-download all the artwork, and metadata. If that doesn't work click the edit icon (pencil) and see of there's another cover image already there, if not go to tvdb.com and search for your show and choose a cover image and copy it's address, click enter url back in plex edit and enter the url, hit enter. Save. All of these will take some time to update so you have to wait a bit for the changes to be reflected.

Kodi's good. But this is a bit different. You can set plex up as a server and many devices across your network can use it at once. You can sync progress, so you can pause on one device and continue on another, etc. And Plex has it's own WebUI so you don't need any separate players on any other device, you can just use the Browser to play video. It supports transcoding on-the-fly so even if your remote playback device like your Android phone is incapable of playing back highbitrate x264 content, or more complex formats like HEVC then it transcodes it to a highbitrate xvid, so as to not lose the quality while ensuring playback capability. Basically the your PC (server) does all the heavy processing, so it becomes easy to playback content on your Android device. There are a lot more benefits, you can do some of these on Kodi, but they're tedious and requires high maintenance.

Just to be clear, while i love plex and use it daily, its not Kodi, the most imporant thing to note here is that Kodi can get the shows for you at any time through Plug-ins, while Plex also has plugins they are not as diverse as Kodis and so the main use of Plex is for your own content you download.

Its not like kodi where youre mainly streaming remote content. I know you can have local content also, but i find most people dont use Kodi for this, just like most people dont use Plex to stream 3rd party plugins. I pretty much live with Plex and if im traveling to a hotel with crappy internet for work ill use Kodi as a backup as i find it works better in those low bandwidth situations.
