I'm not the most technical person on the computer, but what should I playing these files on? I downloaded season 2 from the link, and if I run it on DIVX I get picture no audio, and if I run it on VLC Player I get audio and no picture.

It's a new codec so you need to update your vlc player .. Or install potplayer it's the best imo.
