I have a long memory for companies that steal. It speaks to how trustworthy they are as a company. If I stole your work and passed it off as my own would you ever forget?

The bigger issue is that windows does not need a service running all the time checking for drivers that are updated so infrequently. Also where are they sourcing these drivers?

This company also likes to push their other apps on you (sometimes without consent).

Don't want to get into a whole thing on China and their views on consumer privacy and business ethics but this is a Chinese product so in my mind that is a negative.

The overall point is that they are not be trusted and the software is a pointless drain on resources. To suggest that because the theft did not happen yesterday somehow invalidates my point is crazy.

To add to all of that some oems order custom hardware and that requires drivers directly from the oem to function properly and this software does not take that into account.

Their assertion that you must constantly update your working drivers and that it is even a wise thing to do is false. But if you feel like you need to balance your humours go right ahead.

agreed. the portable version is better as it does not install or create unnecessary services.
